Job summary

Encore is seeking a Seasonal Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic AV systems in a hospitality environment, reporting to the Events team. This role offers hands-on training, full-time benefits, and overtime opportunities.

The position may reapply for future opportunities based on business needs and performance. Strong customer service and basic AV troubleshooting skills are desirable for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Complete all required training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete system entry and paperwork accurately; coordinate with staff and outside vendors.
• Assist with invoicing and equipment scheduling; use Navigator for order entries as needed.
