Job summary

Encore is seeking a seasonal full-time Audio-Visual Technician for hotel/convention environments in Miami. You will set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV systems, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and on-site support.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, on-site client interactions, and accurate records. Benefits, overtime, and hands-on training support career growth; on-base end date scheduled for May 2027.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Deliver customer service and maintain positive client relationships on-site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; coordinate with staff and vendors.
