Job summary

Encore is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic hotel AV systems, ensuring flawless events and outstanding guest satisfaction in a hospitality setting in Miami.

This seasonal full-time role offers benefits, overtime, hands-on training, and opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with hotel staff and clients, perform equipment checks, and help manage invoices and equipment sheets as part of the event operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year AV experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and break down basic AV equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Exceed guest and client expectations through proactive service.
• On-site client meetings to ensure equipment works and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Process orders and interact with staff and vendors for equipment and paperwork.
