Job summary

Encore in Boca Raton is seeking a seasonal, part-time Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. Reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and participates in hands-on training aimed at career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• External applicants must meet all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet all training and certification requirements as per Encore’s program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for roles that may operate company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of basic AV equipment.
• Customer Service: exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships on site.
• Technical Ability: troubleshoot and resolve equipment/software issues.
• Systems Knowledge: follow processes, complete paperwork, and assist with invoicing.
