Job summary

UFL is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer for a fixed-term assignment in Arlington, TX. You will work with the Head Athletic Trainer and team physicians to deliver medical care to players and staff, oversee daily care, and coordinate rehabilitation and administrative tasks onsite.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Athletic Training, BOC certification or eligibility for licensure, annual CEU upkeep, CPR/AED, and willingness to travel with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or equivalent field.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
• BOC certification and current state licensure, or be eligible to obtain state licensure.
• Maintain CEUs required for BOC certification.
• Valid CPR/AED Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily treatments, taping and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate medical records for injuries, treatments and supplies.
• Communicate with the sports medicine team about athletes' health status.
• Schedule appointments, imaging and surgeries with Head Athletic Trainer and team physician(s).
• Collaborate with Performance Coaching on injury prevention and player recovery programs.
• Assist with team medical budgets, supply orders and inventory.
