Job summary

The United Football League is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our medical team in Arlington, TX. The role supports the Head Athletic Trainer and team physicians in daily care, rehabilitation, and medical operations for players and staff during the 2027 season.

This fixed-term position requires one year of clinical athletic training experience, BOC certification, Texas licensure eligibility, CPR/AED, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
• BOC certification and current state licensure or eligibility.
• Maintain CEUs required for BOC certification.
• Valid CPR/AED certification.
• Willingness to travel regularly to UFL markets.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend all practices and games to provide daily treatments, taping and rehabilitation as directed by the Head Athletic Trainer & team physician(s).
• Assist in maintaining accurate records including injuries, treatments, rehab, medications and supplies.
• Communicate with the sports medicine team regarding the day-to-day health status of all player personnel.
• Assist in scheduling appointments, diagnostic imaging and surgeries.
• Collaborate with the Performance Coaching staff in injury prevention, player performance, and recovery programs.
• Assist with team medical budgets, supply orders, and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized athletic training environment.
