Job summary

The United Football League (UFL) seeks an Assistant Athletic Trainer in Arlington, TX to join the medical staff. This fixed-term role supports the Head Athletic Trainer and team physician(s) in daily care, treatment, and rehabilitation of players and staff.

You will participate in practices and games, maintain injury records, coordinate with the sports medicine team, and assist with imaging, scheduling, budgets, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
• BOC certification and current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• CEUs required for BOC certification.
• Valid CPR/AED certification.
• Regular travel to UFL team markets during season.
• Flexible schedule incl. weekends, nights, holidays.
• Ability to meet all physical requirements, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Attend practices and games providing daily treatments, taping and rehab as directed.
• Maintain records of injuries, treatments, rehab, medications and supplies.
• Communicate with the sports medicine team regarding players' health status.
• Assist in scheduling appointments, imaging and surgeries.
• Collaborate on injury prevention, performance and recovery programs.
• Assist with team medical budgets, supply orders and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized athletic training facility environment.
