WorkGenius Group is seeking an Associate Designer for a temporary assignment in City of Industry, CA. You will support the design team with sketches, line sheets, and trend boards, while developing apparel across Men’s, Juniors, Kids, and Infants.

Qualificações

• College degree in design or a related field.
• 3+ years of design experience, preferably in a corporate or team environment; experience with licensing and Men’s, Juniors, Kids, or Infants apparel preferred.
• Basic technical knowledge of fabric construction, finishes, sewing techniques, graphics, and trims, plus fitting experience.
• Strong flat/CAD sketching skills and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Highly organized team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support the design team by creating sketches, maintaining design records, and preparing line sheets for cross-functional teams.
• Conceptualize, develop, and create apparel for Men’s, Juniors, Kids, and Infants categories.
• Develop and present trend and mood boards; research market trends, pop culture, fabrics, trims, fits, hardware, and other raw materials.
• Collaborate with buying, product development, art, and technical design teams throughout the product development process to ensure quality and design integrity.
• Assist with design reviews and approvals, including lab dips, trims, fabric details, fittings, seasonal themes, line edits, and new product concepts.
