Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handle damaged goods, record keeping including payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom; protect assets including cash.
• Follow policies and safety guidelines; support a positive environment for customers and associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
