Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to maintain a safe store environment and support safety initiatives. You will investigate incidents and collaborate with store leadership and law enforcement to reduce shrink and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, assisting investigations, and executing loss-prevention strategies using RFID and reporting tools. A flexible schedule and reliable communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• A valid security license is required for this role in Washington DC; Denver, Colorado; New York City, New York; St. Louis, Missouri; and Oregon.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Assist in investigations by gathering data, conducting package checks, and responding to alarms in our Employee Service Area.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and other reporting tools.
• Complete accurate and timely incident, investigation, and security metric reports.
• Assist in training store teams on asset prevention, partner with management on action plans, and connect with local law enforcement.
