Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, associates, and assets. You will support safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and partner with store leadership to reduce shrink and promote operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Calm and professional approach to handling safety situations.
• Strong accountability, initiative, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Support investigations by gathering data and responding to alarms.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and other reporting tools.
• Complete accurate incident, investigation, and security metric reports.
• Assist in training store teams on asset prevention and connect with local law enforcement.
