Job summary

Northeast Paving is seeking an Asphalt Paving Machine Operator for full-time, hourly work on road projects. The role involves understanding and executing paving procedures, setting screed sensors, and ensuring safe operation of the paver, with daily maintenance and teamwork.

The position requires 3–5 years of industry experience, strong communication with supervisors, and the ability to work outdoors across varying conditions. Seasonal work is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years or more of industry-related experience required, with emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
• Must understand paving procedures.
• Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute paving procedures while following instructions to meet project standards.
• Must follow safe operation of paver.
• Must be able to set screed sensors and determine material placement.
• Perform daily maintenance and keep equipment clean and in safe working order.
• Must be able to work in a team environment safely and effectively.
