Norma’s Restaurant in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a Seasonal Server AM to provide Food and Beverage service in the assigned outlet, from setup to breakdown. You will greet guests, take orders, serve items, handle cashiering duties and keep the area clean and stocked.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, adherence to standards, and teamwork with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the dining area. Seasonal position with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service
• Cashier experience or POS familiarity
• Customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Greets guests according to standards
• Explains daily specials, takes orders and serves the food and beverage items
• Prepares checks, collects payments and follows cashiering procedures
• Completely understand and follow the department and hotel standards
• Replenish all service items (silverware, glasses, china as well as other general supplies)
• Takes responsibility to keep the restaurant clean at all times
• Clears and sets tables and chairs
• Sets up work area and other stations with necessary supplies
• Retrieves food items from the kitchen and beverages from the bar
• Collects dirty items and brings them to the dishwasher and breaks down the service area
• Assists other servers in pre busing tables and serving guests
• Check if the music system and lights are working properly
• Wipe all tables and chairs whenever necessary
• Maintains guests satisfaction his/her top priority
• Follows and works according to the standard operating procedures of the restaurant
