Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Seasonal Deicer Agent to ensure safe aircraft deicing operations and maintain records of fluid usage. You will inspect aircraft for ice, apply Type I and Type IV fluids, and maneuver heavy equipment around active aircraft while coordinating with dispatch.

The role requires reliability and adherence to safety procedures. Applicants must be 18+, legally eligible to work, have a valid driver's license, and pass a background check and drug

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information on print and electronic devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and via electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, as applicable)
• Airlines operate 24/7, so flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Check aircraft for leading-edge ice and frost
• Apply deicing fluid Type I and Type IV to wings, fuselage, and tail
• Safely drive large vehicles around aircraft during deicing operations
• Accurately record deicing fluid transactions for account purposes
• Operate headset/radio to communicate with the dispatcher
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles
• Obey all safety standards and procedures
• Drive large heavy vehicles around aircraft during deicing operations
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the job location
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
