The Salvation Army Southern California Division in Tustin is seeking an OC Christmas Assistant (Temporary Full-Time) to provide administrative support for Adopt A Family and Angel Tree programs in Orange County. You will oversee data entry, volunteer coordination, and ensure timely delivery of holiday gifts to eligible families.

This on-site role requires strong data management, proficiency with Word/Excel/mail merge, and the ability to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings.

Qualifikationen

• At least 21 years old (driver requirement).
• Outstanding data management and reporting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Mail merge.
• Prior seasonal experience with The Salvation Army preferred.
• Meet health and safety regulations as defined by the Health Department and The Salvation Army.

Aufgaben

• Oversee data entry for Adopt A Family and Angel Tree applications and train volunteers.
• Evaluate proofs and follow up with households for incomplete information.
• Maintain the donor and family database and inventory of Angel tags.
• Ensure timely delivery of gifts and arrange volunteer schedules for delivery/drop-off.
• Assist at toy warehouse and verify households on distribution days.
