About this role

The Search Manager is responsible for executing the full life-cycle of search and placement services for top tier, mid- to senior-level professional direct hire opportunities and talent, as well as for developing, overseeing, and leading a team of Recruiters, ensuring their success within Adecco. This includes the development of talent and client networks specific to team's verticals and executing the operations of the team to assure profitability. Ideal candidates will have experience developing talent and client networks within specific industry and profession verticals for each team member, as well as expertly managing the placement process to successful conclusions. This entrepreneurial opportunity offers limitless earning potential designed to compensate the manager on his/her own performance and the team's performance.

What you'll be doing
  • Interview, hire, onboard, develop and oversee a team of executive recruiters.
  • Develops client accounts and generate new business through leads, referrals and various forms of marketing.
  • Partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs.
  • Analyzes hiring needs, determines best recruiting methods, and creates and deploys client-specific and/or role-specific strategic recruiting strategies and client marketing initiatives.
  • Creates a talent network of top professionals, passive and active, within a designated industry and professions
  • Conducts behavioral based interviews and competency based evaluations of talent.
  • Assesses talent and client requirements to ensure proper match, cultural fit and overall compatibility.
  • Manages and guides clients and talent through the interviewing and hiring process to a successful conclusion.
  • Provides guidance and facilitates the negotiation process
  • Stays abreast of leading industry trends and recruiting best practices.
  • Builds and maintains subject matter expertise.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of recruiting and placement activities in appropriate systems of record.
  • Partners with newly hired executive recruiters on daily activities including scheduling, phone activity, interviewing, and follow-up, providing mentorship on developing specific verticals within the regional market.
  • Creates and maintains office culture including team events, birthday celebrations, quarterly reviews, sales competitions, etc.
  • Providing on the spot feedback to ERs by observing their work
  • Maintaining team's goal by documenting all billing confirming invoices, following up on overdue payments from clients/partnering with collection team, comparing team's billing to what is reflected in Adecco Club, and communicating/updating spreadsheet to VP of region for review.
  • Providing ongoing training to team
  • Conducting regional trainings
  • Bi-annual performance reviews for team
  • Generate new business within dedicated verticals
  • Ability to assess viability of orders
  • Taking escalation calls for team when needed
  • Daily meetings with team to monitor daily activity and provide coaching
  • Partners with region's VP to establish annual goals and responsible to assuring team is on track
  • Executing weekly one on one's with new hires to review performance and guide to developing target list and talent network.
  • Providing guidance to ER's for new business. Attending client visits, coaching on marketing calls, assisting in putting together agreements and saving all team agreements to create region's book of business.
  • Establishes and maintains a network of industry contacts through participation in professional/trade associations and other professional networking organizations.
  • Ensures compliance and safety requirements are met.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of successful sales experience required (preferably in a service industry).

Minimum of three (3) years managing a team in recruiting or sales.

Recruiting top tier, mid- to senior-level candidates or relevant industry experience is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.

Combination of post-high school education and related professional work experience equivalent to seven (7) years may be considered in lieu of a degree.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $67,724.80 - $67,724.80. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
