Job summary

Nova Southwestern University in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an hourly, non-exempt staff member to assist the SEAMIST team with daily functions and training support. Responsibilities include updating courses, responding to inquiries, managing rosters, and coordinating with training sites.

Required are a High School Diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills. Weekend teaching or travel may be required, with travel reimbursements processed within two weeks of trips.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or better.
• Strong communication skills for diverse students and staff.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Program Specialist to update and close out all courses.
• Responds to daily inquiries in a timely manner.
• Updates attendance rosters for each class and provides copies for filing.
• Communicates with the point of contact before each training to ensure tools are available.
• Markets program offerings and attends required conferences and workshops.
• Prepares training folders and supplies prior to each training.
• Conducts inventory inspections and reports findings to SEAMIST staff.
• Enters travel reimbursements within 14 days of trips into Concur.
• Reviews and corrects unique ID numbers and evaluation occupations.
