Job summary

REGENT Craft Inc. in North Kingstown, RI, is seeking experienced Composite Technicians to advance the Seaglider program, a wing-in-ground-effect vehicle blending airplane speed with boat efficiency.

You will fabricate, assemble, and inspect prepreg and infused carbon fiber parts, mentor teammates, and partner with design and manufacturing to hit safety standards and schedules. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on composite manufacturing in aerospace, automotive, or marine
• Ability to modify and repair infused and prepreg carbon fiber structures
• Proficiency reading ply layups, schematics, drawings and manuals
• Ability to provide engineering feedback on build processes and manufacturability
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and metrology
• Ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for trips
• Physical ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and integrate composite vehicle parts following prepreg lamination, vacuum bagging, and infusion
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and reliability engineering to meet timelines and budgets
• Provide advanced technical support in assembly, design, and maintenance of structural components
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed and promote safety culture
• Implement and execute quality assurance protocols and maintain documentation
• Maintain fabrication process records and contribute to technical reports
• Develop processes and tooling with engineering for efficient lamination and cure
• Mentor and train technicians, leading small teams on project tasks
