Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to help maintain appealing displays and accurate pricing while delivering outstanding customer service. You will assist with sampling, ensure cleanliness and safety, and support inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers physical duties including lifting and standing for long periods, with opportunities to learn about fresh foods and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Commitment to health and sanitation standards.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Keep display fresh and appealing; rotate stock and remove out-of-date products.
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
• Assist with sampling program and keep sample areas clean and full.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Report safety hazards and follow health and safety procedures.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
