Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Miami is seeking a Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department. You will ensure a fresh, clean display and assist with sampling, inventory checks, and customer service while following safety and health regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining signage, accurate pricing, and a well-organized back stock, working with team members to deliver friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables.
• Maintains accurate signage and pricing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Keeps a safe, clean, and organized working/shopping environment.
• Assists with sampling and keeps area full and clean.
• Preps, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Operates across duties in a fast-paced seafood department environment.
