Job summary

King's Fish House is seeking friendly servers to guide guests through a memorable dining experience featuring seasonal seafood and specialty drinks. You will handle orders, maintain station cleanliness, and contribute to a team-focused service culture.

Must be 18+, have at least 1 year of service experience, and hold a CA Food Handler’s Card. Training emphasizes seafood, oysters, wine, and craft cocktails, with pay composed of hourly wage plus tips.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Minimum 1 year service experience.
• Some wine/cocktail knowledge.
• High school graduate, some college.
• Current CA Food Handler’s Card.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and team.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Knowledge of service standards.

Responsibilities

• Take guests' food and beverage orders using suggestive selling techniques.
• Input orders into point-of-sale system.
• Retrieve alcoholic beverages from bar and serve to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned station.
• Open wine/champagne bottles for guests at table.
• Serve all courses and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Provide courteous, professional service and anticipate guest needs.
• Process payments and assist with table resets and closing duties.
