Job summary

North Coast Sea-Foods Corp. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to test seafood products at three production stages, verify safety, and report findings to management.

The role includes moisture analysis, product grading, and QA documentation, ensuring compliance with laws and company standards. The position requires 1+ year in inspection/production, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced seafood manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in inspection or production in food manufacturing.
• Experience with microbiology verification and routine testing practices.
• Experience in seafood or meat processing is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between production staff and Quality department for QA issues.
• Fill out assigned HACCP compliance documents and perform audits.
• Conduct internal audits with QC supervisor and test product attributes.
• Record measurements and report quality findings to QA leadership.
• Inspect and grade seafood products to ensure specification compliance.
