Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking a hands-on operator for our production line. You will monitor belt systems, set up packaging equipment, and ensure proper sanitation and safety procedures are followed on the floor.

You will also operate material handling tools, document quality data, and coordinate with supervisors to minimize downtime while complying with all OSHA and HACCP standards. This role includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor belt conditions and transitions to minimize breaks and coordinate with lead or supervisor for adjustments.
• Set up bags and load batter and breading machines, ensuring bags are properly processed.
• Perform sanitation and assist with equipment changeovers following lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely to reduce accidents.
• Maintain daily equipment inspections and report repair needs to reduce damage.
• Comply with OSHA, HACCP, and related regulations and troubleshoot issues as they occur.
