Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: seafood industry or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in common units.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; interpret bar graphs.
• Physical demands include standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor belt conditions and ensure smooth transition.
• Set up bags and load batter and breading machines.
• Sanitation of equipment and changeovers following lock-out procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain equipment daily and report repairs.
• Comply with OSHA, HACCP, and related regulations.
• Troubleshoot problems and adjust as needed.
