Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by checking quality, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and removing outdated products.
• Keeps department signage and pricing accurate.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Keeps a safe, clean, and organized work and shopping environment.
• Assists with sampling, keeping areas full, clean and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains as required.
• Prepares seafood: skins, bones, and cooks/smokes fish; labels and dates cooked fish.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; completes shifts and trainings.
• Delivers excellent customer service, answers phones promptly, and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures on Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary environment and keeps equipment serviceable per WFM standards.
