Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct and coordinate activities on the plant floor for year-round production and seasonal processing. Knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, and safety/quality systems is essential.

The role requires planning staffing, coordinating resources, and ensuring production schedules are met. This position emphasizes data-driven decisions, process improvements, and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing production environment with specific experience leading productionlines.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Studies production schedules and estimates staffing, duty assignments and inventory requirements in coordination with Production Manager.
• Develops a process plan including people, resources, equipment, and floor space.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Coordinates manpower requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Performs activities of workers supervised.
• Interprets company policies and enforces safety regulations.
