The role requires strong communication, knife handling, and experience in retail seafood. You will train staff, schedule shifts, and coordinate with store management to meet sales and safety goals.

Qualificações

• Effective communication skills.

• Current food handlers permit once employed.
• Possess adequate knife handling skills and knife speed.
• Seafood experience and/or retail experience are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Promote trust and respect among associates by communicating information.
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to achieve goals.
• Establish performance goals for department and empower associates.
• Schedule to manage customer volume during hours of operation.
• Train and develop associates and participate in performance appraisals.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Create welcoming environment with product knowledge and samples.
• Cut seafood to customer requests and provide fresh/frozen products.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Work with store management to implement a department business plan.
• Inform associates about promotions and seasonal changes.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for sales and merchandising supervisor.
• Monitor and control department expenses and budgets.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags.
