Job summary

99 Ranch Market in Edmonds, WA seeks a Seafood Department Supervisor as a short-term transitional role to train MITs for promotion to Seafood Department Manager. The start date leads to potential advancement within approximately 6–8 months based on performance and learning progress in the Management Training Program.

Responsibilities include overseeing product preparation, display, inventory, customer service, sales targets, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience in seafood department or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work assigned schedules including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Currently possess or have ability to obtain a Food Handler’s certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Seafood department operations from product prep to display, inventory, and pricing to drive sales.
• Ensure excellent customer service, address issues promptly, and implement action plans for service optimization.
• Drive sales and manage costs, labor, shrink, and adherence to financial targets.
• Use company systems to track sales, inventory, and perform monthly counts.
• Supervise and mentor staff, delegate tasks, and coordinate with HR for staffing decisions.
