Job summary

99 Ranch Market is seeking a trainee supervisor to join a department and complete a 6-8 month training with evaluations, after which you will be assigned to a store and responsible for the department SOP, product knowledge, planning, ordering, organization, employee management and all supervisory duties.

The role will involve managing daily operations to meet company standards, designing promotional plans with store management to hit sales targets, and maintaining fresh, fully-stocked shelves

Qualifications

• Supervisory and coaching duties with training programs.
• Ability to manage planning, ordering and store operations.
• Familiarity with inventory control and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department SOP, product knowledge, planning, ordering, organization, employee management and supervisory duties.
• Manage department daily operation and meet company standards.
• Design store promotion plans with store management to meet sales targets.
• Maintain product display, ensure freshness, and keep shelves fully-stocked.
• Order products based on on-hand inventory, promotion events, and delivery schedule.
• Receive poultry shipments and inspect quantity and quality.
• Control inventory movement (FIFO), rotate displays, organize freezer/cooler, and conduct physical inventories.
• Familiar with local vendors and local products.
• Use label updating and price sign printing software efficiently.
• Provide schedules to department employees and manage attendance.
• Work on Human Capital Management, including coaching, operational training, mentoring and performance review.
