Job summary

99 Ranch Market is seeking a Seafood Manager in Training to join a structured Management Trainee program. The role includes store, HQ, CPU and DC rotations, hands-on supervision, and ongoing internal and external retail training. The program aims to develop leaders ready to manage departments and drive sales across locations.

Training lasts 6–8 months, after which top performers are assigned to a store to lead the department, with mentorship and clear advancement paths within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in related fields.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and lift 25+ lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; willingness to relocate if necessary.
• Travel between stores for training.
• Able to read, analyze and interpret procedures and training materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Undergo 6–8 month training and evaluations.
• After training, supervise department SOPs, product knowledge, planning and ordering.
• Manage daily department operations to meet standards.
• Collaborate with store management to plan promotions and meet sales targets.
• Maintain display, freshness and stock levels; manage inventory and FIFO processes.
• Assist in training, mentoring and performance reviews.
