Job summary

ShopRite of Old Bridge in Old Bridge, NJ, is seeking a Seafood Department Supervisor to direct the department’s operations and lead associates toward sales, profit, and customer experience goals. You will ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company policies while maintaining a high standard of presentation and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for a full shift.
• Basic computer functions.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Climb a ladder to access items.
• Interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.
• Engage and lead associates to department goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies and proper handling of all products.
• Maintain temperature logs and production sheets.
• Lead associates to deliver strong customer experience.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and product rotated.
• Maintain department cleanliness and organization.
• Manage staffing and attendance in the Seafood Department.
• Oversee training and development of department associates.
