Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Store Department Lead in Frisco, TX. You will lead a well-stocked department, provide exceptional customer service, and perform supervisory duties including scheduling and training Partners.

Responsibilities span Bakery, Beauty, Deli, Prepared Foods, Produce, and more, with focus on production planning, inventory control, and adherence to store procedures. You will mentor Partners and drive department sales through strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong customer service and leadership abilities.
• Experience supervising shifts and scheduling staff.
• Ability to train Partners and develop team performance.
• Knowledge of inventory control and product rotation.
• Adherence to food safety and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• May serve as backup to Department Manager and work shifts opposite the Manager.
• Help prepare department work schedules and supervise daily tasks.
• Conduct inventory control and assist with loads/unloads of products.
• Train Partners, direct work, resolve issues, and follow production plans.
• Assist in Bakery, Deli, Produce and other departments as needed.
• Provide superior customer service and answer product questions.
• Merchandise products effectively and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensure food safety by cleaning and sanitizing areas and equipment.
