Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of retail experience preferred.
• One-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management.
• Strong leadership abilities in a hands-on environment.
• Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Spanish language ability is highly desirable depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventory in the department with inventory control procedures.
• Review and validate received orders for amount, quality, count or weight.
• Manage a team that completes stocking, production, and related tasks.
• Maintain familiarity with products in the department and store.
• Know advertised items, special prices, and coupon deals for store programs.
• Communicate and execute Flight Plan to company expectations and timeline.
• Follow policies and timelines using required tools and software to manage scheduling.
• Implement and maintain work schedules, labor control, and payroll expense.
• Lead department staffing, training, performance management, and career development.
• Develop and monitor department goals and forecasts as required.
• Attend meetings and participate in huddles and district/company level meetings.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked department following Prime Time standards.
• Ensure food safety and overall safety guidelines are followed and corrective action taken.
• Develop and implement plans to meet company goals and KPIs.
