Job summary

You will train new crew, manage onboarding, oversee inventory, pricing, and display standards, coordinate with the Seafood Sales Manager on promotions, and maintain operations with FIFO practices and timely scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2 years of department operations experience or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of food service, merchandising and retail operations.
• Willingness to learn about seafood, chef express, beef, pork and poultry.
• Ability to follow knife handling procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead seafood department crew, plan work, coach, and discipline as needed.
• Train and mentor staff to sell fresh seafood and related products.
• Manage onboarding and training documentation for new hires.
• Conduct daily team huddles to communicate goals and guest service expectations.
• Prepare, price, wrap seafood and related products.
• Maintain inventory following FIFO and ensure displays stay stocked.
• Coordinate POS maintenance and promotions with Seafood Sales Manager.
