Job summary

ShopRite of Forest Hill is seeking a Seafood Department Manager to lead the Seafood team and drive sales, customer experience, and department health. You will supervise associates, ensure safety, quality, and compliance, and coordinate training, scheduling, and tasks across the department.

The role requires strong English communication, basic math, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior leadership in a grocery setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English and interpret information.
• Perform basic math and measurements.
• Stand/walk for full shift and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Interact with customers in a friendly manner and lead associates.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Seafood Department to achieve goals (sales, profit, customer experience).
• Enforce safety, HACCP, and company policies; maintain logs and cleanliness.
• Lead, train, and schedule department associates; provide feedback and coaching.
• Ensure proper stocking, pricing, signage, and product rotation.
