Job summary

ShopRite of Hackettstown in Mansfield, NJ is seeking a Seafood Clerk to deliver great customer service while maintaining and operating the Seafood Department. You will prepare and pack fresh and frozen seafood according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety.

The role requires ability to read and follow procedures, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and work with a friendly team to meet merchandising and service goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work with a variety of seafood and related products.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to follow safety and QA procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare, pack, and display seafood per standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the seafood department.
• Ensure accurate price-marking and inventory records.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
