Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking entry-level Team Members for our fresh departments. You will maintain displays, stock shelves, assist with sampling, and help customers with a smile while following safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires the ability to stand/walk long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within a values-driven, customer-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by checking quality and stocking cases.
• Maintains department signage and pricing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized environment.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps sample areas full and clean.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors and drains as required.
• Skins, bones, and cooks or smokes fish; boxes up, labels, and dates cooked fish.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of equipment and environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signage accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
