Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members in Ohio to join our front-end department. You will maintain fresh displays, stock shelves, ensure accurate signage, assist with sampling, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities emphasize customer service, fast-paced work, teamwork, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Training and ongoing opportunities are provided as you learn product knowledge and merchandising techniques to maximize sales.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively and upsell when appropriate.
• Basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactive label reading to ensure accurate pricing and information.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks and stock organization.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
• Deliver information clearly to customers, vendors and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality and restocking products.
• Maintains department signage, pricing and back stock in order.
• Upholds safety, sanitation and clean working/shopping environment.
• Assists with sampling, keeps areas full and appealing.
• Provides excellent customer service and suggests items to customers.
• Supports proper merchandising and rotation to maximize sales.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and reports hazards.
