Job summary

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace in Bloomfield Hills is seeking a Seafood Associate to prepare and display seafood products, assist customers with selections, and support the department’s daily operations.

You will weigh, price, wrap, and prep seafood, receive shipments, stock cases, maintain safe and clean work areas in a 45–50 degree environment, and help train teammates while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme cold and wet/humid conditions.
• Able to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Experience with meat/seafood prep is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and place seafood cuts in display counter.
• Receive and unload shipments per guidelines.
• Stock meat cases with proper rotation.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment per regulations.
• Assist customers with selections and preparation guidance.
• Weigh, price, wrap, and prep seafood for customers.
• Operate equipment safely per company policies.
• Provide knowledge of product varieties and pricing.
• Train associates when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
