Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18+ to operate slicers, meat cutters, etc.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Able to work in extreme cold and wet environments.
• Able to stand and walk for 8+ hour periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and place seafood cuts and products in the display counter.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments according to guidelines.
• Stock meat cases with quality products and proper rotation.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment per regulations.
• Assist customers with selections and recipe guidance.
• Weight, price, wrap, and prep seafood for customers.
• Follow company recipes for seafood prep.
• Provide excellent customer service and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment per policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of product quality, prices, and preparation methods.
• Handle damaged or spoiled products per guidelines and control losses.
• Comply with weights, measures, labeling and regulatory requirements.
• Notify management of safety or equipment issues.
• Assist in training associates as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
