Job summary

ShopRite of Livingston is seeking a Seafood Clerk to deliver excellent customer service while operating the Seafood Department, preparing and packing fresh and frozen seafood per company standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, pricing and stocking, differentiating seafood varieties, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Must lift up to 50 lbs, stand long shifts, and follow QA policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to handle fresh, frozen, and processed seafood.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Handle receiving, dating, pricing, and stocking to ensure quality and rotation.
• Differentiate seafood types and inform customers about products.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment.
• Follow safety and QA standards and report equipment issues.
• Lift, push, pull, and rotate merchandise up to 50 lbs as needed.
