Job summary

Fiesta Mart, part of the Chedraui USA group, is hiring a Seafood Clerk for Store 006 Rosenberg. The role supports the seafood department with setup, maintenance and clean displays and provides friendly customer service in a fast-paced grocery setting.

The position requires bilingual abilities (Spanish/English), ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, and experience interacting with customers and coworkers. Food Handler Card or equivalent is required for food handling positions.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Lift up to 60 pounds occasionally; up to 45 pounds frequently; up to 25 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service.
• Set up, maintain and clean seafood display cases.
• Clean, fill and rotate seafood displays.
• Assist customers and operate in a fast-paced grocery environment.
