Job summary

Fiesta Mart, part of the Chedraui USA group, is hiring a Seafood Clerk for Store 006 Rosenberg. The role supports the seafood department with setup, maintenance and clean displays and provides friendly customer service in a fast-paced grocery setting.

The position requires bilingual abilities (Spanish/English), ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, and experience interacting with customers and coworkers. Food Handler Card or equivalent is required for food handling positions.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short memos.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Assists the customers, sets up, maintains and cleans the seafood display cases. Cleans, fills and rotates the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged period of times. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
