Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is seeking a Seafood Clerk to provide friendly customer service and manage seafood displays. You will assist customers, set up and rotate displays, and maintain cleanliness while complying with safety standards.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs and work in a fast-paced grocery setting. The position emphasizes bilingual English/Spanish communication, reading product labels, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence; present information clearly to customers.
• Regularly lift and move up to 60 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Assists customers, sets up, maintains and cleans the seafood display cases.
• Cleans, fills and rotates the seafood displays.
• The working environment is fast-paced and includes lifting and standing for prolonged periods.
