Job Description
Prepare and display Seafood items for sale in an efficient, sanitary, and artistic manner, adhering to company standards and policies. Perform customer service functions and follow all company policies and procedures. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Wait on customers promptly and cheerfully, providing them with high-quality foods.
- Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display foods according to company standards, recipes, and policies, complying with Food Safety Policies and Procedures and Health Department regulations.
- Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product quality, freshness, and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
- Keep carts, tools, equipment, and supplies in their designated areas.
- Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per company and health department policies.
- Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, and space allocation.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained and operated safely.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Work flexibly on weekends and holidays as needed.
- Operate cash register if applicable.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications
Minimum
- Effective communication skills for engaging with customers and team members.
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, labels, and training materials.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work professionally at all organizational levels.
- Personal initiative and follow-through.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Skills related to product production, merchandising, and customer service.
- Ability to safely handle cleaning solutions, sharp tools, and operate equipment.
