Job Summary
Sorts, displays, removes, and replenishes fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. Maintains the environment of the department by providing assistance to Members through product knowledge and customer service. Ensures all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards.

- Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including a grand opening look, stocked items, and cleanliness.
Know Your Business
- Understand how to access and interpret performance reports for your department and see the impact of consistent execution.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist Members in the produce department, answer questions, recommend products, and help locate items.
- Inspect, rotate, and store produce, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain freshness through proper rotation, display neatness, and removal of unsuitable products.
- Manage the produce reserve stock area, organize, and date all items.
- Follow guidelines for disposing of damaged or expired products.
- Support inventory and order processing with the Fresh Manager.
- Clean and sanitize all produce equipment and areas.
- Create signage and perform price checks to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all club policies and perform other duties as assigned, including cross-departmental work.
- Maintain full attendance as an essential job function.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of fruits and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Environmental Conditions
- Frequent movement on hard surfaces, including bending, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.
- Work environment includes temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers.
The estimated starting pay for this position is from $16.25, with actual salaries varying based on location, education, experience, and other factors, in accordance with Pay Transparency laws.
