Job summary

Daytona State College is seeking a student employee for the ERC Maker Space and Innovation Hub. The role involves managing inquiries, guiding students, and supporting events and maker-space operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inquiries online and in person.
• Provide guidance and support to new and returning users.
• Perform basic office duties: answering phones, taking messages, recording documents, copying materials, delivering items across campus.
• Assist with EET events and functions.
• Maintain ERC Maker Space and Innovation Hub cleanliness and organization.
• Support upkeep and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Verify users have completed required equipment training and ensure safety procedures are followed.

• Experience working with crafting equipment (e.g., Cricut, Sewing machine, 3D printers, printing press, etc.)
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and effectiveness
