Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager - Level 1 for our Colorado Springs, CO facility. You will provide technical leadership across two or more sites, guiding requirements, architecture, integration and verification for space and ground programs.

Responsibilities include leading SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR, coordinating with customers, and mentoring a multi-site SE team to ensure on-time, within-cost deliverables. A strong communicator with ethics and integrity is essential.

Qualifications

• Active US Government Secret clearance required.
• Strong leadership of cross‑functional teams across sites.
• Experience in requirements engineering, verification and sell‑off processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional leadership for the SE organization across multiple sites.
• Oversee development, design, integration, test and implementation of SE solutions for programs.
• Lead SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR reviews and formal sell‑off activities.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to present analyses and results.
• Mentor and develop SE staff and manage staffing needs.
