Qualifications

• Fast-paced, detail-oriented dispatcher experience preferred.
• Ability to learn routing and scanning systems quickly.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily driver dispatch and route assignments.
• Ensure drivers arrive on time and prepared for routes.
• Monitor route execution and address delays or issues.
• Manage urgent STAT deliveries and time-sensitive orders.
• Review manifests for controlled substances and required documentation.
• Scan and maintain records of controlled medication documents.
• Support pharmacy operations with administrative tasks.
• Communicate route status with drivers, pharmacy staff, and customers.
• Track package movement and delivery performance.
• Utilize dispatch tech, mobile apps, printers, and systems.
• Identify operational challenges and implement improvements.
• Assist with after-hours support until routes are serviced.
• Maintain professional, organized, customer-focused environment.
• Support teamwork, accountability, and compliance.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Dispatch and coordinate drivers and delivery routes.
• Manage driver schedules and communicate route changes.
• Sort, scan, and organize delivery bags accurately and efficiently.
• Adjust routes based on volume and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate routing and delivery information within company systems.
• Assist with emergency deliveries or routes when needed.
• Maintain basic office and operational supplies.

Position: Dispatcher
Shift: Monday - Friday, 11a - 6p
Pay: $21.00 per hour

• Basic spreadsheet knowledge; e-courier or similar system experience is a plus.

The Dispatcher serves as a key communication link between drivers, pharmacy personnel, and customers, ensuring all deliveries are executed accurately and within required service levels.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating daily driver dispatch activities, including early morning route releases and route assignments.
• Ensuring drivers arrive on time, are properly prepared for their routes, and comply with customer and vendor appearance requirements.
• Monitoring route execution and proactively addressing delivery delays or operational issues.
• Managing urgent STAT medication deliveries and ensuring time-sensitive orders are assigned and completed promptly.
• Reviewing and processing controlled substance manifests and verifying required documentation before route release.
• Scanning and maintaining records of controlled medication documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting pharmacy operations through administrative tasks, document management, and system updates.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, pharmacy staff, customers, and management regarding route status and service concerns.
• Tracking package movement and delivery performance to ensure service commitments are met.
• Utilizing company technology, mobile applications, printers, and dispatch systems to support daily operations.
• Identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions to maintain efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Assisting with after-hours operational support as needed until all routes have been successfully released and serviced.
• Maintaining a professional, organized, and customer-focused work environment.
• Supporting a culture of teamwork, accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
