Actalent is hiring a Sales Development Representative Trainee in Milwaukee to build trusted relationships with engineers and scientists, identify target accounts, and drive new business. You will collaborate with recruiting to place top talent and support client needs through consultative selling.

The role starts with a structured training program and mentorship, offering a strong compensation package with uncapped commissions and growth opportunities within Actalent and the Aston Carter brand.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and/or sales (including sales majors/clubs/internships).
• Strong desire for a career in B2B/relationship-based sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency, presentation skills, and professionalism.
• Strong propensity to learn as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as talent solutions and services expert for the territory.
• Establish and manage target accounts and prospects using internal/external resources.
• Identify and nurture new and existing customer relationships via CRMs and networking tools.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision makers to qualify business needs.
• Increase sales and market share across accounts.
• Negotiate bill rates and terms to align with market standards.
• Build relationships by delivering quality consultants and marketing candidate resumes.
• Lead meetings at client sites and with client managers; coordinate consultant lunches.
• Partner with recruiting to fulfill client talent needs.
